New & Used Boat Swap
The Zoar Outdoor New and Used Boat Swap Sale is a two day boat sale extravaganza! Sell your boat for a CHECK on the spot or store credit and/or shop for the best deals of the season from Zoar Outdoor Outfitters Shop.
This event will be held at the Zoar Outdoor Outfitters Shop on Saturday & Sunday, April 15 & 16th from 10am until 4pm.
If you have boats you’d like to sell, drop-offs will only be accepted on Friday, April 14 from 10am-4pm and Saturday, April 15th from 9am – 10am.
Dates & Times:
- Boats for Sale Drop Off: Friday, April 14 10am-4pm & Saturday, April 15 from 9:00am-10:00am
- Used Boat Sale: Sat & Sun, April 15-16 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Pick Up: Sunday, April 16 at 5pm – All unsold boats must be picked up by 5pm on Sunday, April 16th. If unsold boats are not picked up on Sunday by 5pm, they will be donated to charity and/or destroyed
Logistics:
- Storage: Boats will be stored in the Zip Base Barn (green building side doors)
- Location of Sale:
- Boats will be displayed on the lawn in front of Hawk Mountain Lodge all day Sat & Sun, April 15-16.
- Purchases can be made at Red House Zoar Outdoor Outfitters Shop
How to Sell Your Used Boat:
- Drop off your used boat (boats only, no accessories) between 10:00am-4:00pm on Friday, April 14th or Saturday, April 15 between 9am-10am
- All unsold boats must be picked up by 5pm on April 16th. If unsold boats are not picked up on Sunday by 5pm, they will be donated to charity and/or destroyed
How to Buy a Used or New Boat:
- Boat swap will run from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, April 15-16. Sale is only for boats, no paddles/other paddling equipment.
- No tax
- Zoar will facilitate the sale of used kayaks throughout the weekend
- Sellers receive 85% of the sale if they choose Zoar Outdoor store credit. Zoar Outdoor retains 15% commission for sale.
- Sellers receive 75% of the sale if they would like a check payment. Zoar Outdoor retains 25% commission for sale. Payments will be issued on Sunday afternoon for any sold boats.
- We do not plan on taking in any used kayaks for future sale. Again, all boats must be picked up by 5pm Sunday
