New & Used Boat Swap

The Zoar Outdoor New and Used Boat Swap Sale is a two day boat sale extravaganza!

Sell your boat for a CHECK on the spot or store credit and/or shop for the best deals of the season from Zoar Outdoor Outfitters Shop. This event will be held at the Zoar Outdoor Outfitters Shop on Saturday & Sunday, September 16th & 17th from 10am until 4pm.

If you have boats you’d like to sell, drop-offs will only be accepted on Friday, September 15th from 10am-4pm and Saturday, September 16th from 9am – 10am. 

Dates & Times: 

• Boats for Sale Drop Off: Friday, September 15th 10am-4pm & Saturday, September 16th from 9:00am-10:00am
• Used Boat Sale: Sat & Sun, September 16-17, 9:00am – 5:00pm 
• Pick Up: Sunday, September 17 at 5pm – All unsold boats must be picked up by 5pm on Sunday, September 17th. If unsold boats are not picked up on Sunday by 5pm, they will be donated to charity and/or destroyed

Logistics: 

• Storage: Boats will be stored in the Zip Base Barn (green building side doors)
• Location of Sale:
  • Boats will be displayed on the lawn in front of Hawk Mountain Lodge all day Sat & Sun, September 16-17.
  • Purchases can be made at Red House Zoar Outdoor Outfitters Shop

How to Sell Your Used Boat:

• Drop off your used boat (boats only, no accessories) between 10:00am-4:00pm on Friday, September 15th or Saturday, September 16 between 9am-10am
• All unsold boats must be picked up by 5pm on September 17th. If unsold boats are not picked up on Sunday by 5pm, they will be donated to charity and/or destroyed

How to Buy a Used or New Boat:

• Boat swap will run from 10am-4pm on Saturday and Sunday, September 16-17. Sale is only for boats, no paddles/other paddling equipment.
• No tax
• Zoar will facilitate the sale of used kayaks throughout the weekend
• Sellers receive 85% of the sale if they choose Zoar Outdoor store credit. Zoar Outdoor retains 15% commission for sale. 
• Sellers receive 75% of the sale if they would like a check payment. Zoar Outdoor retains 25% commission for sale. Payments will be issued on Sunday afternoon for any sold boats.
• We do not plan on taking in any used kayaks for future sale. Again, all boats must be picked up by 5pm Sunday
